BNC “After Hours”

‘Where Master Networkers Go To Network’

Business Network Chicago (BNC) has introduced an exciting new networking format to the Chicago business community which includes top-notch speakers, targeted speed networking and unstructured open networking. This new format has received rave reviews.  People love the speakers, speed networking, venue, food and, as always, the friendly and helpful crowd of Chicago's top business professionals.

The mission of BNC is to teach Chicago’s premier business professionals to become “Master Networkers,” facilitate the development of their personal networks through our diverse groups and promote the growth of business in Chicago.  We want our members to excel in both face-to-face and online networking via social medial tools and make it easy for them to get in front of the ‘right’ people who can make the biggest difference in their careers and lives.

Ask The Experts:  An open panel discussion with 4 of Chicago’s top social media experts.  Learn how you can use social media to elevate your visibility, find new customers, get a job and expand your network of valuable business connections.  The experts are:

Beth Rosen: Founder & Creative Director at 4 Keys Media, Inc, Content Producer at NBCChicago.com, Radio Host at WCBR Radio, Pioneer podcaster, social media consultant to several large enterprises.  http://www.linkedin.com/in/bethrosen

Jeff Willinger: President of the Chicago Chapter of Social Media Club, Director of Marketing, Social Computing & Intranets at RightPoint Consulting, frequent presenter at local and national social media conferences.  http://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffwillinger

Jean Pickering: President & Social Media Director for The Tektite Group,  BNC Social Media Director and leader of the BNC Technology Group, technology and social media consultant to individuals and small businesses.                                      http://www.linkedin.com/in/jeanpickering

Lauren Milligan: Founder & Career Advancement Specialist at ResuMAYDAY, BNC Jobseekers Group Leader, weekly radio talk show host (www.mydreambiz.net), specialist in job search techniques, resume writing, & provides outplacement services to corporations.  http://www.linkedin.com/in/laurenmilligan

You must register online to reserve a spot to attend one of  the two presentations.

Speed Networking:  The purpose of these sessions is to meet as many people as you can in as short a period of time and to get you in front of your target audience to build your personal network.  This is NOT your typical one-on-one networking.  You talk with 5 people at a time and then switch to another group of 5 people (much more relaxed & easy to hear each other). These sessions are very popular and fill up quickly so, if you want to participate, sign up for one of these 2 sessions immediately.  To facilitate our matchmaking process, please complete the online questionnaire.

Online registration is required to reserve a ticket to one of the two speed networking sessions.

Open networking is available throughout the evening.

If you register online before midnight on Saturday, July 24th, you will receive a copy of the attendee list on Monday afternoon.  Scroll through the list and select the individuals that you really want to meet at the event.  We will include attendee numbers on the name tags to make it easy for you to identify the people that you targeted.
